Junior Naturalist Program at Wildlife Prairie Park

Start your adventure…Join the Junior Naturalist program for kids at Wildlife Prairie Park!

Sessions take place once a month from 1-2:30pm. Each month we will cover a different topic, from bugs or birds to animal habitats and sleeping patterns! Hands on activities and special animal programs will be included.

Each child will receive a badge and booklet for attending the session. There is no limit to the number of sessions your child can attend since each will be cover a different topic. Come to all 12 or just come to one!

February session will be Happy Homes.

Nests, dens and burrows are just a few types of animal homes. How are they built and who do they house?

Parents are asked to stay with their children during each session.
Grades: 1st-8th
Student cost: $10 per student; Members $6
Parent cost: $3 per parent; Members free

Advanced registration and payment are required and can be done online or by calling 309-676-0998 ext. 312. Please dress for the weather!
