Where were you born + raised?

I was born in Ottawa Illinois. I grew up in a little town 12 miles north of Ottawa called Harding. It was a farming community with a population of less than 150.

Schooling/ University years? Hubby?

I attended Illinois State University with a Bachelor of Science in Community Health Education. I met my husband at ISU and he graduated with a Bachelor of Science, and then went on to Marquette School of Dentistry in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Tell us a bit about your kiddos?

We have three girls, our oldest Reese will turn six this month. Our second child is Harper, she just turned four in September and the baby of the family is Grace. She will be two in December. I love being a mom of three. My husband and I are blessed. I love the craziness and the way the girls are unique. It's fun to see them grow and how they interact and lean on each other.

What are you looking forward to this autumn?

Autumn to me brings a sense of energy. I love the crisp fall air, beautiful colors of the leaves changing, less bugs, and lots of apples!! We love apples in our house!!

Any Thanksgiving traditions you are making with your family?

Thanksgiving to us is about Family. Taking the time to be with each other talking about what makes us thankful. We will be making a collage on the refrigerator to remind us what we are Thankful for. The girls take part in Operation Christmas child where they pick out items to give to other children, and we will also be bell ringing for the Salvation Army this year.

Thanks for sharing about your family, Anne. (Beautiful photos by Summer Lyn Photography) What a great example you are as you involved your girls in doing good for the community (both local + global!). We wish you a cozy + connected Autumn!
